Partner Missions

Welkom Baptist Church actively supports impactful partner missions, including Mukhanyo Theological College, which equips African pastors with biblical education, and the African Pastors Conferences, fostering leadership development. Additionally, the church partners with The Pines Christian Care Center and Morning Star Christian Care Center, providing compassionate care and community support in South Africa. These collaborations reflect Welkom Baptist’s commitment to advancing ministry and social good across the region.

An Academic Instiution with a missional heart. Mukhanyo Theological College is a decentralised training network with multiple sites of delivery in Africa that provides biblical education for church and community. Mukhanyo serves pastors and other Christians by offering theological education at various levels and within several fields

African Pastors’ Conferences exists to glorify God through Jesus Christ in enabling Pastors to lead Christ-exalting Biblical churches as Christ-like servant leaders through the faithful ministry of God’s word in preaching and leading Bible-studies.

Bringing Christian Solutions to the Global AIDS Pandemic. By raising children in a Christ-centered environment, The Pines hopes to train them to be morally pure, which in turn will help them live through the AIDS pandemic and make a lasting impact in Africa. So many already have been lost to the AIDS pandemic and The Pines is stepping in to help keep these children from becoming a second lost generation.

Morning Star Children’s Centre was born out of deep Christian compassion for the plight our nation finds itself in due to the escalating HIV/AIDS pandemic currently sweeping through our land. We are committed to restoring hope to the women and children of our region and making a meaningful difference to as many families as possible.
